About the Cookies
My standard cookies are vanilla-lemon sugar cookies with vanilla royal icing, but you can also choose chocolate chip or a rotating seasonal flavor (currently pumpkin spice).
These cookies are hand-decorated with royal icing, but may include printed backgrounds where appropriate!
Cookies are individually wrapped and heat-sealed for freshness. Once sealed, cookies stay fresh for a week at room temperature, or three months when frozen.
Typically each cookie measures 3.5 - 4” on the longest side. They’re certainly bigger than your average sugar cookie, so one per guest is my recommendation. But no one is ever mad about extra cookies!
Allergen-wise, cookies contain dairy (butter makes them good!), gluten, and citrus.
Pricing
Custom hand-decorated cookies start at $65 per dozen. Once you submit a request, I’ll take a look at your inspiration and design notes, then send you a custom quote before I get started! A few things that will increase the price of cookies:
Characters or detailed logos
Metallic accents
Handpainted watercolor elements
Additional textures (realistic moss, sand, etc)
All of these additions make your cookies stand out, but take a lot of extra time and skill! I’ll always give you a simpler ($65/dozen) option and an upgraded one if you request more complex cookies.
Printed Cookies
You Can Print on Cookies?!
Yes! I print using a machine called the Eddie, and it uses FDA-approved edible ink to print an image onto an iced cookie. Printed cookies are great for corporate events, large-batch orders, or designs that are too complex to translate with royal icing.
For printed orders, I’ll just need a high-definition PNG or JPG of the image you’d like made into a cookie. I will try to color match as best as possible, though like all printers, it’s often impossible to get an exact match from screen to cookie. Lighter images tend to work better, but we can work together to make sure your design is perfect.
Pricing
Custom printed cookies start at $50 per dozen, and only increase if the shape of the cookie is complex or if I need to do any extra design work to make your image printable.

I’m now available to teach private cookie classes! I will create 3-5 custom designs for your group, and bring all the necessary supplies— baked cookies, pre-made icing, sprinkles, placemats, etc. All you need is a minimum of 6 people and the space to host it. The Girl Behind the Bakes
Hello! If we haven’t met yet, I’m Jordan— a designer turned baker turned mom located in Hickory, NC. I started decorating cookies in late 2019 while planning my 2020 wedding (lol), and became hooked pretty quickly. I find cookie decorating to be a perfect use for the graphic design skills I’ve spent a decade honing and a perfect excuse to get off the computer and work with my hands.
I love being a part of so many peoples’ celebrations and milestones, and hope I can be a part of yours!
